Navy Recruitment Poster

Howard Chandler Christy’s “Gee!! I Wish I Were a Man” This navy recruitment poster was a rallying cry for both patriotism and feminism. Christy (1873 – 1952), patriotic creator of the independent Christy Girl was almost exclusively known for the more than 6,000 images of his Christy Girls which were printed in numerous national magazines. He also painted historical works and portraits of celebrities.

This picture was probably used as a way of encouraging or 'coaxing' men into joining up for the navy. No red-blooded man would want to think that a woman had more backbone than him! If a woman would be willing to join up for the navy then hey, he better show that he's a real man and 'step up'. I suppose there was an element of trying to shame men into signing up and doing their duty for their country. Today there are so many women who seem to want to be men. They try to behave more like men and think like them. But in doing so they take on a totally unnatural persona for a female. They try to be pseudo-men but it is totally unworkable because it is unnatural! It is not what God ordained for the female. Women who have been schooled by feminism and have the 'I can do anything a man can do' kind of mentality are walking down a dead end road. It is totally pointless trying to be what God never intended a woman to be. Over the decades feminism has had a devastating effect on society. Many women today have become more sexually immoral, aggressive, violent, leud, loutish, ladette-ish, drunken, sexually perverted. (lesbianism, bisexuality etc) disrespectul and immodest. (cleavage showing deliberately to both males and females!!! Incidentally there is always a spirit of perversion in females who do this) Incidences of women sexually harrassing men and female abuse of children have gone up as well. All in the name of freedom and feminism. Some kind of freedom that is! How sad that any woman would trade in her God-given femininity to be a man. A woman's femininity is a gift from God. Why would a woman want to be a man? It's totally baffling.
